Two Americans, Abe and Dwight, are discussing trans-Atlantic politics.
Abe says: "The British Prime-Minister Cameron got it wrong."
Dwight replies: "Unlike the American President Barack Obama."
While, it's understandable that Abe qualifies Cameron as the 'British Prime-Minister', is it really likely Dwight would say to a fellow American .... 'the American President...'?
In the Regency Period there was only one Prince Regent.
During the Regency period the upper echelons of society knew who Lord Castlereagh was and his role in Vienna.
So why, in 'Petals in the Storm' (MJP) does Rafe, a British aristocrat, say to fellow Brits: "All the Allied sovereigns are in Paris except the British Prince Regent......" and later in the same text does Lucien, also a British aristocrat, say to a fellow Brit: "simply inform Foreign Minister Castlereagh..." ?????
